🐝🌸At the end of last term our preschool children were engrossed in exploring spring flowers. Fortunately one of our team is very skilled with paper craft and was on hand to model some techniques.Using these skills the children made their own garden of spring flowers. This week we welcomed back all of our term time children. At story time we shared the book β€˜Bee’ with the children. This led to some fantastic discussions about the important work bees do and what we can do to take care of our natural world and help the bees. We are now planning what flowers we can plant and how to take care of them to help the bees carry on their important work. Instilling this deep understanding, care and compassion for our natural world is one of our core values here at Little Steps and this exploration is a wonderful start to our Summer term. 🌸🐝

🐻We have been using our new cosy den to explore a favourite story this week... this inspired us to go on our own Bear Hunt in the garden. Our Rabbits and Foxes explored squelching in the mud, splashing in the water, slipping in the snow and stomping through the trees🐻
